About

About Peter Mboya.

Empowering Growth Through Banking, Leadership & Community Impact.

🔹 Who I Am

I’m Peter Mboya — a seasoned banking professional, graduate of Economics and Sociology community builder, and youths empowerment advocate, born and raised in Ojunge Village, Homa Bay County.

My journey began from humble roots, shaped by resilience, faith, and service. From leading students` welfare at Egerton University to managing complex ecosystems in Kenya’s banking sector, I’ve always believed in showing up for people—whether they’re customers, colleagues, or communities.

With over six years of experience across customer service, group lending, SME and value chain banking, I bring a 360° view of business and relationships. My current role in SME Banking allows me to walk closely with entrepreneurs—offering solutions, strategy, and support that unlock real growth.

🔹 What I Believe

Banking is not just about numbers — it’s about empowering people. Whether it’s a young entrepreneur seeking funding or a community group building a brighter future, I believe in using financial knowledge and leadership to unlock potential and create lasting impact.

🔹 What I Do

I help individuals, businesses, and organizations navigate banking, grow strategically, and lead boldly. Through personalized advisory, speaking engagements, and grassroots mentorship, I support growth that’s practical, sustainable, and purpose driven.

But my work doesn’t end at the bank.

I founded Inspired Africa, a platform for empowering young people through mentorship, education, and environmental action. I’m also the mind behind Mboya Magazine, a storytelling space born from lived experience, dedicated to building culture, community, and courage.
From launching A Pupil for a Tree Initiative Program at Dandora Primary to driving financial literacy among rural entrepreneurs, my mission is simple: to inspire bold, meaningful change—in people, in business, and in society.
